Red Sox Accused of Stealing Sign Sequences

The Atlantic ‘s latest report alleges that the Boston Red Sox used their video replay room to steal the sign sequences of opposing teams during the 2018 World Series Championships.

Three anonymous people explained how it would go down. Boston would go to the replay room to deciphers the opposing pitcher’s sign sequence and then get that info to the dugout. Then someone would get the info to a baserunner who then used body movements to send the pitching info to the batter.

The Red Sox have declined to comment. MLB plans to open an investigation.

This means that Alex Cora is apart of two teams accused of sign-stealing, first as the Astros bench coach and now for his time managing the Red Sox during their 2018 championship.
