Breaking news out of Ottawa with paramedics taking three gunshot wound victims to the hospital after a shooing in Canada’s capital city.

According to police, there are “many injuries” in Wednesday morning’s incident, which took place just a half-mile south from Parliament Hill. “A coordinated response is underway,” reads the statement on Twitter.

Superintendent Hilton Radford says that those shot are in “serious condition”.

CBC News reports that it is not considered to be an “active” shooter situation.
