More information came out Tuesday on the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of nine people, including Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.

The Associated Press reports that although the helicopter lacked the recommended warning system to alert the pilot that he was too close to the ground it may not have even mattered.

Officials think Ara Zobayan lost control of the aircraft as it banked left, then plunged for nearly one minute into the fog-covered mountain.

Although the helicopter was intact, the high rate of speed at which it hit the ground caused parts to scatter more than 500 feet. The final remains of victims were recovered Tuesday. Final autopsies confirmed the deaths of Bryant, Zobayan, and two others.
