Former Congressman John Delaney is ending his 2020 campaign, just three days before the Iowa caucus.

Delaney was actually the first candidate to declare a 2020 bid for president, launching his campaign all the way back in 2017. But he hasn’t qualified for a debate since July and most polls had him near zero percent.

Delaney told supporters “it is clear that God has a different purpose for me at this moment in time”.
