Bill Gates joined Trevor Noah on his renamed, “The Daily Social Distancing Show” to answer questions about the Coronavirus and the vaccine that he’s working on.

Gates says that he didn’t know that the Coronavirus would hit during a previous TED Talk, Gates says his TED Talk was geared toward getting governments on board to be invested in preventive ways to combat a pandemic.

The Microsoft co-founder says seven vaccine makers have secured funding to produce a Coronavirus vaccine but only three will be selected by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Gates has invested $20 million into three institutions in the United States and United Kingdom. Gates is pushing for a national shutdown, limited domestic travel and administering more targeted testing.

Gates says the United States could prevent the predicted 240,000 deaths, “If we do the social distancing properly, we should be able to get out of this with the death number well short of that.”
