While the White House and some lawmakers are “raring to go” in getting the US economy restarted in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, we still might be a few more weeks from lifting the lockdowns.

Speaking Sunday with a more cautious approach, Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted, “I think it could probably start at least in some ways maybe next month.”

According to the country’s leading infectious disease expert, “We are hoping by the end of the month we can look around and say, ‘OK, is there any element here that we can safely and cautiously start pulling back on?'” adding, “If so, do it. If not, then just continue to hunker down.”

Fauci says that when the time comes, it won’t be like flipping a “light switch”; it will be done in stages by the region.
