If you were planning to hop a flight to Hawaii right now, you probably should reconsider; the trip won’t be the getaway to paradise you’re expecting.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Aloha State has passed a mandatory 14-day quarantine order for all those arriving from the mainland. Visitors will be asked to fill out a declaration noting where they’re staying inside for the time.

While technically what you tell them is on the honor system, officials at Hawaii Tourism will be checking up on you. Don’t answer their calls and they’ll turn you over to local law enforcement.

Those discovered to be breaking self-isolation will be arrested and sent back, as what happened recently to a woman from Los Angeles.
