The sound of players shouting “fore” was once again heard across New York.

Under strict guidelines, golfers in The Empire State were allowed to hit the links, so long as they maintain social distancing and caddy their own clubs without the use of carts.

Last week, owners and lawmakers convinced Governor Andrew Cuomo that the courses should be allowed to re-open.

In addition, New York boaters can take to the waterways, so long as they too follow social distancing practices.
