WHO Says No Evidence Of Coronavirus Immunity In Those Who Have Caught The Disease

If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 and have recovered from the virus, don’t assume you’re now immune to catching it again.

That’s the word from the World Health Organization, who said Saturday that they’re reviewing whether antibodies can prevent people from coming down a second time from the infection.

The health body came out against so-called “immunity passports,” saying there isn’t enough evidence that those who are well again could begin traveling due to now being immune.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the worldwide death toll from the coronavirus topped 200,000 people over the weekend.
