President Trump is counting on states to take charge as they begin the process of reopening.

Trump stated on Wednesday that the federal government’s coronavirus social distancing guidelines will be “fading out.”

“They’ll be fading out because now the governors are doing it,” Trump told reporters.

The federal guidelines are scheduled to expire on Thursday.

The guidelines that were established approximately 45 days ago, were given to the states as recommendations on how to reopen their economies.
