Colo. cafe reopens despite restrictions

Another business is defying coronavirus restrictions. C & C Coffee and Kitchen breakfast cafe in Castle Rock, Colorado served hundreds of dine-in customers on Mother’s Day.

Current COVID-19 measures still require dining areas to remain closed until at least May 31.

Customers were lined up outside the door. There was no thought of social distancing, only one person was seen wearing a mask and, Colorado Community Media reporter Nick Puckett noted, armed security was present.

A May 9 C & C Coffee and Kitchen tweet read “@realDonaldTrump We are standing for America, small businesses, the Constitution and against the overreach of our governor in Colorado!!”
