An Ohio man is behind bars after federal agents discovered he was planning to kidnap several police officers and steal their weapons, which he planned to use for “an uprising.”

That’s according to the FBI, which on Tuesday arrested 20-year-old Cleveland resident Christian Stanley Ferguson in connection with the plot. “Ferguson was identified after engaging in several violent and extremist postings made on the cross-platform communication application Discord ,” a statement released by the FBI reads. “He made statements about tactical options for killing multiple targets and the disposal of their bodies. He reaffirmed his plan to ambush law enforcement, kill them, rob them of their weapons, and start an uprising.”

Agents say Ferguson was meticulous in his plans; he even sent out a fake distress signal from Cuyahoga Valley National Park so he could see how long it took officers to respond.
