The CDC is warning that COVID-19 antibody tests could be wrong up to half the time, giving people the false believe that they are immune to Coronavirus.

Why is the inaccuracy so large? It’s because if the infection has affected only a small number of people tested it will “have a large margin of error”, according to health officials.

Patients may actually have to take two tests to give a more accurate reading. The CDC also urged that current antibody testing data should not be used in making public policy decisions.
