The owner of a Labrador retriever and a German shepherd left her dogs in the car while she attended a lecture on how to become a paid dog trainer.

She left the car running with the air-conditioner on high – as the temps had reached 90 degrees outside.

However, the car quit running and by the time the owner returned to her vehicle the dogs had died.
