Officer Charged in George Floyd Death Posts Bond

Records show that Thomas Lane, one of the former officers charged in the death of George Floyd, has been released from jail after posting his $750,000 bond.

Thomas Lane is charged with a charge of aiding and abetting second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd.

Last week, Lane’s attorney Earl Gray said that Lane was a rookie and all he did was hold Floyd’s feet so that he couldn’t kick. He went on to claim that his client suggested that George Floyd be laid on his side but alleges that Chauvin said no.
