Former VP Joe Biden out-raised President Donald Trump for the first time last month. The Biden camp out-hauled the Trump reelection campaign by more than $6 million in May – bringing in $80.8 million compared to the $74 million captured by Trump.

Biden’s cache of cash is now greater than the $60 million his old boss, former President Barack Obama, had in May 2012 and more than double the $38 million Hillary Clinton’s campaign raised by May 2016, Newsweek reports.

Despite winning the fundraising battle in May, Biden’s $82.4 million on hand pales in comparison to President Trump’s $265 million war chest.
