A 22-year-old soldier accused of giving classified information to a Satanic neo-Nazi group was also planning to attack his own unit.

The Justice Department says the soldier, Ethan Melzer, was plotting a “mass casualty attack” once his unit deployed to Turkey. He allegedly sought help via an encrypted messaging app.

Melzer is tied to a UK-based group called the Order of the Nine Angles. He’s been indicted on charges including conspiracy and attempted murder.
