Phoenix Ties Record for High Overnight Lows

While experiencing high temperatures that break records is nothing new for Phoenix, the past week has seen the city turn up in a lesser-visited area of weather annuls.

For each of the past seven evenings, Phoenix’s overnight low has failed to drop below 90 degrees. It’s only the second time in recorded history that the low has been that high for so long.
