Two teens ages 14 and 17 have been charged with first degree murder in the death of 16 year old Daveon Gibson. He was killed on January 31 just blocks from Senn High School in Edgewater. Two other students were injured during the shooting. The 17 year old has been charged as an adult. Chicago police say there was an altercation before the shooting but they wouldn’t say if the suspects knew the victims.
