Night 2 of the Democratic National Convention was full of Illinois speakers. First from Illinois was Governor Pritzker who went after Trump with many one-liners.

A night after Illinois’s Senior Senator Dick Durbin took to the stage, Tammy Duckworth spoke about protecting IVF rights. She has two children with the help of IVF.

Other speakers included the grandsons of former Presidents Kennedy and Carter. United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Shumer, Senator Bernie Sanders made speeches as well.

The night concluded with the first Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, the first black First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama.
