Night Two of the Democratic National Convention is set to get underway at the United Center on Tuesday evening. The theme is “A Bold Vision for America’s Future,” where speakers will outline differences between the Harris and Trump campaigns. Illinois will be heavily represented.
Former president Barack Obama will give the evening’s keynote speech and former first lady Michelle Obama will also address the convention. Also scheduled to speak is Gov. JB Pritzker. At Tuesday’s Illinois Delegation Breakfast, Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton said she is looking forward to Pritzker’s speech: “Well I’m always looking forward to hearing Governor Pritzker speak and I’m just so proud of him to have the national stage to talk about all that Illinois has accomplished and he’s going to motivate voters not just from Illinois but all across the country.”
Senator Tammy Duckworth is also expected to be among the evening’s speakers.
