The Democratic National Convention is not open to the public, but the Sun-Times is reporting that a viewing party will take place at Soldier Field on Thursday night.

GoChiLife, a nonprofit that aims to “build partnerships to showcase the best of Chicago,” said the watch party will be open to the public.

Kamala Harris is expected to accept the Democratic Presidential nomination tonight after a slate of speakers at the United Center.

The event will start at 7 p.m., and include a live viewing of Harris’ acceptance speech. Hip-hop artist Tobe Nwigwe will appear onstage at Soldier Field after 10 p.m.

Tickets to the event are free. Attendees are required to register online.
