A former chicago police officer paralyzed in a drunk driving crash has died

Former Chicago police officer Jim Crowley who was paralyzed in a drunk driving crash in 1987 has died at the age of 59. Crowley was paralyzed when a drunk driver slammed into his police cruiser paralyzing him and injuring three other officers. A wake is scheduled for Tuesday at the McGann Funeral home and a funeral mass will be held Wednesday at the Saint Christian Catholic church.
