New York-based venture Wonder has purchased the delivery company from Just Eat Takeaway.com for $650 million.

The sale reflects a steep decline in valuation amid heavy competition for food delivery orders.

In 2023, Grubhub laid off nearly 400 of their staffers in a budget reduction cut. This affected about 120 employees in Chicago.

Additionally, all Wonder locations will be available on Grubhub for third-party delivery, according to a press release.
