To talk about how gas prices could double because of delivery charges on customers’ bills by 2040 and how the pipeline replacement programs can devastate customers. “If regulators don’t lean into the companies who relaunch the program and continue spending at full throttle, they found that it would average yearly record rate hikes for Peoples Gas customers over the next 15 years; it would cost about $15.8 Billion to finish this program by 2040. Peoples Gas customers would be paying it off for the next 75 years”
