“The Education of Eva Moskowitz” – her battle to reform our education system

There is a historical battle playing out in America today.

As a historian, former city council member, and now a public charter school operator, Eva Moskowitz is a major player in this war.

On one side, the teachers unions and politicians — focussed on protecting their special interests vs. parents, especially those of color, fed up with generations of bad schools and who want better choices for their children.

“The Education of Eva Moskowitz” is a front row seat to that slugfest so everyone really understands what’s at stake. In New York City’s traditional public schools, 24% of black and Hispanic students passed the state math test this year. At Success Academy, 95% of these students passed the math test. About 4 times as many. People ask how is that possible.

Listen as Big John and Ramblin’ go in depth with Eva Moskowitzand find out how it happened in New York City and how it could happen here in Chicago. THEN, read “The Education of Eva Moskowitz.”
