They discuss the opioid epidemic, sexual harassment, gun control, and medicinal marijuana. Rotering shares her thoughts on Donald Trump, and Bruce Rauner.

In this week’s round table segment, Bill Cameron is joined by Ray Long of the Chicago Tribune, and Greg Hinz of Crain’s. Topics include, the possible Amazon headquarters in Chicago, as well as other possible headquarters coming to Chicago. They also discuss the Gubernatorial race in Chicago, specifically Rauner’s upcoming ads, DACA, Durbin, and Rahm Emanuel.

This week’s community spotlight segment is with Jennifer Keiper. Discussed is the push by a coalition of community groups to get the Obama Foundation to sign a Community Benefits Agreement. The coalition wants a guarantee that people won’t be forced from their homes, that jobs will be made available to local residents, and that there will be investment in schools and local businesses. Mayor Emanuel was touting the library, just a short time after the coalition shouted-down Alderman Leslie Hairston as she tried to congratulate the the African-American contractors recently selected to handle the building of the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park.
