Is this a lesson in humility? Leaving well enough alone? Or that, in the end, everyone gets their due?

A St. Augustine, Florida man called 911 to brag after he ditched a traffic stop. Authorities say 19-year-old Nicholas Carlmann Jones was stopped for a traffic light violation. As the St. Johns County Deputy approached, Jones burned rubber.

He likely would have gotten away with if the smug teen hadn’t dialed 911 an hour later to antagonize, “Like, what do we pay you guys for?” Adding, “Like, I’ve driven past four cops.”.

News4Jax reports authorities didn’t have his correct license plate number and were only able to track Jones down because of his call. By the way, he also had a warrant out for his arrest.
