You wouldn’t expect Ted Cruz and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to agree on much. But the Texas Senator and New York Congresswoman are working together on a bill aimed at keeping former Congress members from working as lobbyists.

It started when AOC tweeted that members of Congress shouldn’t be allowed to work as lobbyists after leaving office. Cruz responded, tweeting “Here’s something I don’t say often: on this point, I AGREE with AOC.”

Now the two have agreed to work on a bipartisan bill that would prevent former Congress members from working as paid lobbyists.
