Labor Department Shares Disappointing Jobs Report

The U.S. economey fell short of projections in the month of May, according to the latest numbers from the Department of Labor.

The economy added about 75,000 jobs in May, less than half the number projected after more than 200,000 jobs were added the month prior.

While the unemployment rate held steady at 3.6 percent, a 50-year low, wage growth stagnated, which analysts fear could signal and economic slowdown in the months ahead.
