A Florida man is facing attempted murder charges after dragging a police officer more than 100 yards during a traffic stop.

Police say the officer pulled over Rocky Money Rudolph Jr. for illegal window tint. When the officer reached inside the car, Rudolph took off, dragging the officer.

At that point, the officer pulled his gun, but Rudolph grabbed it and fled again, dragging the officer about 100 yards before falling onto the road.

Police spent seven hours searching for Rudolph, who had been shot in the leg during the confrontation and allegedly threw the gun into some bushes. The Seminole County Sheriff’s office has released video of the confrontation.
