The parents of a woman killed in the 2017 Las Vegas shooting are suing gun manufacturers, claiming they made it easier to carry out the deadly

The lawsuit claims that gun makers like Colt’s Manufacturing showed a “reckless lack of regard for public safety” by making their weapons easy to modify to fire continuously like automatic rifles.

The suit was filed by the parents of Carrie Parsons, one of the 58 victims of the Vegas shooting. Their attorney has also represented the families of Sandy Hook victims in a similar lawsuit.
