Meghan McCain may have had enough of The View.

The Daily Beast reports that McCain is “exhausted and defeated” and “feels like a caged animal” after two years on the show.

Her conservative views that spark arguments with co-host Joy Behar have been in the headlines. An anonymous friend of McCain said, “It’s getting to the point where it’s not worth the emotional toll every week. If she doesn’t stay at The View , she will find other work.”

For what it’s worth, a spokesperson for ABC said they fully expect the entire panel, including McCain, to return for the new season starting in the fall.
