It looks like at least one of the crowded field of Democratic 2020 hopefuls is dropping out of the race.

California Rep. Eric Swalwell is expected to announce today that he’s ending his campaign and will instead seek re-election in the House.

Rumors of Swalwell dropping out picked up steam last week after he cancelled planned Independence Day events in New Hampshire. The most recent polls had Swalwell down around zero percent support.
