Drug trafficking appears to continue full speed, however, there’s at least a billion dollars worth of cocaine that will not hit the streets thanks to the efforts of U.S. Customs authorities.

The agents uncovered nearly 40,000 pounds or almost 18,000 kilograms of cocaine when a cargo ship arrived in Philadelphia last month.

It’s reported that at least six crew members have been charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine aboard a ship as the federal investigation continues.
