On Friday, the House will vote to renew the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.

The fund is set to end in 2020 unless it is renewed. Recently, former Daily Show host Jon Stewart made headlines after testifying in Washington D.C. and calling it “shameful” that many lawmakers didn’t attend the hearing.

Senate Leader Mitch McConnell says the Senate will hold a vote on the bill next month.
