Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello is expected to resign as protests calling for his ouster continue on the streets of San Juan.

Rossello is under fire over leaked text messages that show him and other top aides using homophobic and misogynistic slurs, and joking about victims of Hurricane Maria. He’s also mired in a corruption scandal over how his administration mishandled millions in hurricane funds.

Earlier this week, Rossello announced he would not seek reelection but would not resign.
