A new Congressional report states that not only did Michigan State fail to protect young gymnasts from sexual predator and former doctor Larry Nassar, but the U.S. Olympic Committee and the FBI did, as well.

Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal told NBS News that the report clearly shows that the organizations covered up the abuse, saying “whether it was a criminal cover-up remains to be proven, but it was a cover-up in spirit. The report details how over 300 athletes were not helped during the two decades of Nassar’s abuse. It also found that the organizations knew of the abuse for at least a year and never acted.
