On Thursday, a federal judge formally closed the criminal case against accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who died of an apparent suicide earlier this month.

Earlier this week, more than a dozen of Epstein’s accusers described the financier’s alleged abuses in a special hearing.

While the case against Epstein is now closed, but U.S. Attorneys say the investigation into potential conspirators will continue.
