Iowa Man Convicted Of Killing Wife With A Corn Rake

An Iowa farmer has been convicted of killing his wife with a corn rake after discovering she was having an affair.

43-year-old Todd Mullis was accused of impaling his wife Amy with the pitchfork-like instrument, then leaving her body in a shed where her body was discovered by their 14-year-old son.

Investigators say Mullis’ internet seach history included terms like “killing unfaithful women” and “did ancient cultures kill adulterers”. Mullis denies making those searches and claimed his wife fell onto the rake.

Mullis was convicted of first-degree murder and will get life in prison without parole.
