Montana Buried Under Record Snowfall

An unprecedented winter storm dumped as much as four feet of snow in parts of Montana over the weekend.

The biggest snowfall happened in the town of Browning, which saw a whopping 48 inches. Many areas saw near-record snowfalls, heavy winds, and temperatures dropping into single digits.

The intense cold will affect fall growing seasons for farmers. Officials are also concerned about possible flooding issues once the snow melts.
