A high-end restaurant overlooking the water in Lima, Peru is under fire for handing out two sets of menus to couples out to dinner.

Inside the men’s edition at La Rosa Nautica, prices for the dishes would be listed while missing from the menu given to women.

Owners defending the practice, saying it allowed its female patrons, “to enjoy a romantic evening with their partner without taking into account the cost of the services”.

However, the National Institute for the Defence of Free Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property called the move sexist, slapping the restaurant with a $62,000 fine.
