If you’re concerned that your new car will depreciate the minute you drive it off the lot, perhaps you might want to purchase a Jeep Wrangler.
According to a new study from iseecars.com , most vehicles lost on average about half their value after five years. But that wasn’t the case with the Jeep.
The online car marketplace found that the four-door model of the Wrangler only dropped 30 percent, while the two-door did only slightly worse, at 31.5 percent.
On the flip side of the coin, luxury sedans and plug-ins dropped significantly. The Maserati Quattroporte fell 72.2 percent from the sticker price, while the electric Nissan Leaf and BMW i3 plug-in hybrid/electric also shed 70 percent of their value.
