According to a new survey, 50% of U.S. workers didn’t get pay raise this year despite the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years.
Bankrate.com polled 1,000 people and found out that 49% of employees did enjoy a salary bump in some form over the last 12 months, which is actually up from 38% this time last year.
The report also revealed that income bracket was a factor as 55% of those earning at least $50,000 a year enjoyed an increase in pay this year, compared to 43% for those who make less than that.
