A Texas judge has ordered InfoWars founder Alex Jones to pay the $100,000 court costs and legal fees in a defamation case brought against by a parent of a child slain in the Sandy Hook massacre.

After “intentionally ignoring” an October court order to provide documents and witnesses to the plaintiff the judge said that Jones and his lawyer “were in contempt of court” and denied Jones request to have the suit dismissed.

Jones was sued for saying that the parent lied about his son’s death, calling the mass shooting a “hoax” but then later testified that the shooting happened. Jones claimed he was under “psychosis” when he made the claims. The case will more than likely go to trial in 2020.
