Democrat and former HUD Secretary Julian Castro has dropped out of the 2020 presidential race.

Castro said in a video announcing his exit “I’m going to keep fighting for an America where everyone counts. I hope you’ll join me in that fight.”

Castro rarely broke 2% of support in national polls for the Democratic primary race.
