Family Of Steve Irwin Has Helped 90,000 Animals, Many From The Australian Wildfires

Since his death in 2006, the family of Steve Irwin has continued with his legacy of rescuing and saving wildlife.

At their Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, patient number 90,000 was just treated. According to Robert Irwin on Instagram, it’s an orphaned platypus named Ollie.

The Irwins have also been involved with giving aid to the animals injured by the bushfires burning across the country. Fortunately, the hospital is not in danger from the blazes.

“With so many devastating fires within Australia, my heart breaks for the people and wildlife who have lost so much,” writes daughter Bindi in an Instagram post last week.
