For the second straight year, teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

While the Nobel Committee doesn’t reveal nominations, two Swedish lawmakers announced on Monday that they had nominated the 17-year-old, saying she has “worked hard to make politicians open their eyes to the climate crisis”.

If she were to win, Thunberg wouldn’t be the first teenage Nobel laureate – Pakistani women’s activist Malala Yousafzai was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 at the age of 17.
