Authorities in Toronto have safely recovered a 14-year-old that was abducted over a drug deal gone bad.

Police say the victim was grabbed and forced into a vehicle as retribution over a massive drug heist from last summer, where $4 million worth of cocaine was stolen from “high-level traffickers”.

Police say the teen was not involved in any sort of ‘criminal lifestyle’ and that the kidnappers were getting back at his stepbrother, who fled Toronto after the heist.

The victim was found Friday morning after an Amber Alert was issued on Thursday.
