In what could be dubbed one of the crappier capers to come out of the coronavirus crisis, thieves made off with a tractor-trailer filled with toilet paper.

Sheriff’s deputies spotted the truck Wednesday making its way down the highway outside of Greensboro and pulled it over.

Learning the vehicle was stolen, they opened up the back and discovered 18,000 pounds of the pilfered product, which has been difficult to find in many stores.

So far, no arrests have been made, says ABC 7 .
